LBS Mahila T.T. College, Jaipur is located in a peaceful and posh area of the City, Tilak Nagar. It is situated at a distance of about 6 km from Railway Station, 5 km. from Roadways Bus Stand and 12 km from Air Port
The society of the college, Bharat Sewak Shiksha Samiti (BSSS) has a long history, which goes back to 1960. In 1963 BSSS started the institution, Lal Bahadur Shastri College, founded by Pt. Devi Shankar Tiwari, a staunch nationalist, freedom fighter and a man of great vision.
The BSSS is making remarkable progress under the able leadership of experienced, dynamic and dedicated Shri Prageshwar Tiwari, President; Shri Rajeshwar Tiwari, Vice-president; Dr. Dinesh Tripathi, Member; Shri Rajendra Tiwari, Member; Dr. Dhirendra Bhandari, Secretary and other members of the Governing Body.
Feeling the importance of Teachers Training education for womens, BSSS has started Mahila T.T. College with an intake of 120 students, from the session 1996-97 with 30 seats in science and 90 seats in arts faculty.
From the session 2015-16 the duration of B. Ed. course is increased from one year to two years. The college is running three streams i.e. Arts, Science and commerce. There are 84 seats for arts, 24 seats for Science and 12 seats for commerce.
College is permanent affiliated to University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. NOC is obtained by Government of Rajasthan and also recognized by N.C.T.E.
The college is making consistent efforts to strengthen its infrastructure, upgrade the labs with latest equipment and move with time in the fast changing global scenario.
